SMART-CU-11LCD is a system manager that combines an audio input, an audio output unit, a matrix, a DSP, a speaker line driver and a network switcher in a single device.

The flexibility of this CU makes it possible to optimise both equipment and operating costs in both smaller and larger structures, as well as in dispersed groups of buildings.

While working in the network system and when losing the connection to a superior unit, SMART-CU-11LCD / LT is able to perform evacuation scenarios independently thanks to the locally saved configuration. When connected to the system's main communication ring, SMART-CU-11 can not only control amplifiers and power managers, but also receive alarm and digital signals and send them to other devices in the system.

The SMART-CU-11LT control unit distributes the audio signals to the individual zones and monitors the correct operation of the individual zones. It also monitors the status of a line of loudspeakers and amplifiers. Detects and signals defects and inserts a back-up amplifier. This CU is equipped with an ABT-cAudIO-4/12 board offering 4 audio inputs and 12 audio outputs for the connection of amplifier inputs.

SMART-CU-11LT can also be equipped with a colour, touch-sensitive LCD display that provides direct access to the management and monitoring function of the entire system; thus providing an additional configuration called SMART-CU-11LCD.
