Cave Art Centre of Cantabria
Cantabria, Spain
The Cave Art Centre of Cantabria has a three-block structure composed of a central courtyard that connects the different spaces, all topped with a single roof. These blocks are designed in a differentiated manner to include an administrative area, research rooms, an assembly hall, a visitor reception area and an exhibition area, which will house the permanent exhibition“Cantabria at the origin of art“.
The Vice-Presidency of the Government of Cantabria, through the Ministry of Culture, has promoted the Cave Art Centre as a cultural facility with the aim of improving the management of the regional archaeological and rock art heritage, paying special attention to the caves and the visitor’s experience.

a well-designed sound system brings exhibitions to life
Conference system
Our conference system allowed for complete coverage of the space. Reaching all parts of the hall was a mandatory requirement in order to ensure exceptional sound quality and improve the efficiency of the events.
And not only that, being a multidisciplinary hall that hosts all kinds of events, presentations and exhibitions, the adaptability of the system to each use provides a complete solution at any time and situation.
In an assembly hall, there can be a large number of attendees and complicated acoustics due to the size and design of the space. This can make it difficult for attendees to hear and understand what is happening on stage.
Make sound yours.
Acoustics of the museum building
The design took into account the materials and the arrangement of objects in the rooms as elements affecting the sound quality. A balance between sound reflection and absorption was sought to avoid excessive reverberation and echo.
Sound system for the auditorium
Simultaneous connection of multiple microphones allows multiple speakers to participate in conferences without the need of exchanging microphones.
High quality sound at all times
The selection of sound equipment ensures that the sound reproduction is clear and accurate. In addition, the loudspeakers were placed in strategic locations to avoid acoustic interference problems.
Integrated audiovisual system
Designed together to have a high performance solution for sound and audiovisual projection systems.
Easy to use and maintain
To avoid technical problems and ensure that the sound is always top-notch.
Museum sound is an important part of the visitor experience and should be carefully planned and designed to enhance the experience and understanding of the exhibits.
